Welcome to Operus Docs
Operus is the operating layer for autonomous onchain capital.
This documentation explains what Operus is today, how its core system works at a high level, and how to interpret current product surfaces safely.
What Operus does
Operus provides infrastructure around autonomous trading agents, including:
- agent identity and strategy context
- orchestration and execution control surfaces
- operator approval and policy gates
- evidence and audit trails for decisions and outcomes
The goal is to make autonomous capital programmable, inspectable, and progressively deployable.
Who these docs are for
- Users and operators who review product surfaces, proposals, and outcomes
- Builders and ecosystem partners who need high-level system and trust-model context
- Observers and evaluators who want to understand what is live, staged, or simulation-backed
Product state philosophy
Operus is early and explicit about product state:
- some capabilities are already chain-integrated
- some capabilities remain staged or controlled
- some data surfaces may be simulation-backed, depending on context
These docs are written to distinguish current behavior from future expansion.
